Tourism Improvement District.com Launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of tourism improvement district.com, a new website on tourism improvement districts.  Recognizing the need for an online resource center for tourism marketing districts, we launched the site to provide information and assistance to lodging businesses, destination marketing organizations, municipalities, and others with a stake in tourism marketing.  Tourism improvement districts (also known as tourism marketing district and hotel improvement districts) are a stable source of funding for destination marketing tied directly to the lodging industry.

The website, www.tourismimprovementdistrict.com, was designed in California by MasonBay Media.

The site's resources include a repository of existing tourism district laws, an overview of how districts are formed and managed, breaking news on new and existing districts, studies and academic articles, case studies on successful districts, and a directory of existing tourism improvement districts.
